A Maltese delegation composed of the Lieutenant Roberto Buontempo, his spouse, the treasurer Comm. Ray Mercieca and spouse Dame Tania Mercieca, participated during the investiture ceremonies held in Milan inside the church complex of Santa Maria della Pace, upon the invitation of H.E. Comm Angelo Domenico Dell’Oro, Lieutenant of Italia Settentrionale.
The investiture was presided by the Grand Prior of the Lieutenancy H.E. Mons Maurizio Malvestiti, Bishop of Lodi.
On the 7th and 8th October the Chancellor, Knight Grand Officer Ray M Cassar and the Secretary of the Lieutenancy Knight Commander Christopher Busuttil Delbridge represented the Lieutenant, Knight Grand Cross H.E Roberto Buontempo at an investiture ceremony inside the Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba on the invitation of the Lieutenant of Western Spain H.E. Knight Grand Cross Jose Carlos Sanjuan y Monforte, in the presence of H.E. the Governor General Leonardo Visconti di Modrone.

Members of our order led by Lieutenant Roberto Buontempo, participated in a procession with the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary followed by Mass celebrated by the Archpriest Chev. Can. Fr. Robin Camilleri at the Basilica of Senglea. The homily was dedicated to the devotion of the Rosary and Blessed Bartolo Longo.
