29th June – Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul
Members of our Council, led by the Lieutenant, Roberto Buontempo attended a mass to commemorate 10 years of priesthood of our member Rev. Can. Robin Camilleri, Archpriest of the Basilica and Collegiate Parish Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Senglea.
The Lieutenancy congratulates Fr Robin for this important milestone and for his dedicated service to the church and the community.
26th June
Our Order was invited for the first time by Rev. Can. Knight Robin Camilleri, Archpriest of Sengela’s Basilica to participate during the Feast of Christ the Redeemer, presided by our Grand Prior and Archbishop of Malta Charles Jude Scicluna.
Mass was followed by a procession with the miraculous effigy of Christ the Redeemer around the streets of Senglea. Thousands of people participated in prayer.
25th June 2022
On the occasion of the Solemnity of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, our Order participated in a Pontifical Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. The celebration was presided by our Grand Prior, His Grace Mgr. Charles J. Scicluna, Archbishop of Malta.
On the 19th of June, precisely on Father’s day, our Lieutenant, Roberto Buontempo, was bestowed with the Grand Cross of the Order approved by the Cardinal Grand Master for the unstinting and committed work he has carried out in our Lieutenancy over the past years. The award was presented by our Grand Prior Archbishop Charles J Scicluna during the feast of Corpus Domini at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St Paul, Mdina.
We wish him many more years of service to our Order!

Members from our Lieutenancy led by the Lieutenant, Roberto Buontempo took part in the celebration of the feast of Corpus Domini. The mass was held at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Paul, Mdina and was presided by our Grand Prior and Archbishop of Malta, Mgr. Charles J. Scicluna. After the mass our members took part in the procession with the Blessed Sacrament together with a number of children celebrating their first Holy Communion.

Members of the Order, led by the Lieutenant, Roberto Buontempo, participated during a mass, officiated by Rev. Noel Muscat OFM on the occasion of the Feast of St Anthony, Patron Saint of the Custodia of the Holy Land at Ta’ Ġieżu Church, Valletta. During the celebration our members presented the oil to be used for the altar of St Anthony for the entire year.

Members of the Order, led by the Lieutenant, Roberto Buontempo, participated during a mass, officiated by Rev. Dr. Dominic Sultana on the occasion of the Feast of Corpus Christi at the Parish Church, Għasri in Gozo. After the mass a procession with the Holy Eucharist was held with children from the village who had their first Holy Communion.
